CARE in Sheffield

25 June 2024 - 19:00 - 21:45

Join CARE & Graham Kendrick for an evening of worship and prayer for our nation.

A key focus for the evening will be to pray for our nation. In the past mighty revivals have sprung from just a handful of people gathering to plead for God’s mercy. We're reminded of William Cowper’s words ‘Satan trembles when he sees the weakest saint upon their knees.’ Celia Bowring will lead us in a time of prayer and the evening will include ministry and worship from Graham Kendrick and musicians. CARE’s Director of Advocacy and Policy Louise Davies MBE– who has always lived in Sheffield, and James Mildred, who represents the new young leadership of CARE and heads up our Communications will also contribute. Also our dear friend Dr RT Kendall has kindly recorded a timely and uplifting message especially for this event! Graham, RT and Lyndon have a longstanding relationship as part of a prayer retreat group that’s been meeting for the last 35 years and Dr Kendall was a trustee of CARE for 20 years before he moved back to the USA.

We’ll commence with coffee, tea and pastries at 6.30pm and conclude the evening by 9.45pm. As a valued partner of CARE, we invite you to reserve complimentary tickets for yourselves and guests.

The evening will include:

  • Tea, coffee and pastries
  • Worship led by Graham Kendrick and musicians
  • Prayer for our nation and biblical encouragements
  • A timely recorded message from Dr RT Kendall
  • CARE's story and vision for the future
